Myers, etc.

We have so much going on in our lives, I wanted a place to talk about it. David, me, the kids (3 nieces, 2 nephews now!), the dog, the cat, etc. :) No one else will probably find this as entertaining as I myself will, but that's ok, this is more for me anyway.

And more kids

David's brother has 2 kids, which unfortunately we don't get to see near enough! Brodie is 6, Carmen is just over one year. These pictures are from Christmas, so a little old to show how Carmen really looks now. I'll get newer ones up soon. They live in about an hour and a half away from us. Not too far, but just far enough that we don't get to play with them as much as we would like.

I really love this picture of David and Brodie. They both look so sweet! (Just goes to show how looks can be deceiving!)

Our life and "kids"

Nope, no kids of our own, but we do have the animals. I love to take pictures of the cat and dog, and of course they love it too. (NOT!) We got the cat right after moving into our house 2003. I thought it was a girl (didn't really want to look too close), so I named "it" Daisy. The first time I took the cat to the vet, the vet told me that Daisy might not be a good fit. Yep, the cat had balls. So I looked at some names in a book the vet gave me, and picked Cooper. Sounded cute, seemed to fit him. A year later, we got a dog. It's a weenie dog, black and white, very odd coloring. We tossed around names, and I jokingly suggested Alice. David thought it was funny, and it stuck. So now when I let the animals out back, I find myself yelling "Alice, Cooper" to get them back inside.

Summer 2007

In May we went on vacation with a group of friends. Rhonda and Lance, Tracey, Bryan. We rented a 4 bedroom house on the North Shore of Oahu for 7 days. It was paradise! The house was beautiful, with everything you could have needed or wanted. It had a wrap around porch, a deck with a view, beautiful yards. So much better than staying at a hotel.

We went to the flea market at Aloha Stadium, had lunch on the beach in Waikiki, hiked up Diamondhead (and lived to tell about it), took a sunset cruise on a catamaran, snorkeling at Hanauma Bay, luau at Sea Life Park, David and Lance played golf a couple days, Bryan went on a power hang-gliding trip. It was busy, but fun. We still found time for just hanging at the beach.
